I’ve had around 3 mid life crises in the past 3 months…

…And I’m only 30.

I know that’s supposed to be a bad thing but…

Let me tell ya…

I enjoyed the hell outta each one.

I’ll explain…

Some people have called me crazy for building and launching new products every month. Other’s say my neck tattoo has taken over my mind and made me insane…

…But none of that’s true.

Here’s the real truth Reader…

…I’ve launched 3 different products in the last 3 months. And that’s why I’ve had a 3 mid life crises. Because launches are an emotional rollercoaster. The first day you get sales and think:

“Hey this is working yeehaw I’m going to buy a Ferrari”…

But the next 3-5 days there are literally zero sales. Marketers call this point “the trough”. You hit a mid life crisis and think about selling everything you own during the trough.

Then you want to buy a Ferrari anyway and drive that bad boy to Antarctica to escape the failure.

Here’s why I bring this up…

The last day of the launch you get 80% of your total sales because everyone waits until the last minute…

Crazy isn’t it?

Here’s the juicy action packed lesson for you..

If you ever want to launch a product, course, or an offer that makes money. You need to use scarcity. People are always on the fence about buying things. Sure the reader knows they need your product. But they just don’t feel like buying right now. That’s why you need to close the doors or raise prices.

Why does this work?

It’s called the scarcity heuristic. Heur-o-what?

The scarcity heuristic is a bias where people place a higher value on items they perceive to be scarce. By limiting time or availability you make your product more valuable and desirable.

That’s the secret trick to make products more valuable…

And without the scarcity heuristic well…

…You wouldn’t get the 80% of purchases in the last 6 hours. Imagine the feeling of that mid life crisis?

Catch ya soon,

-Parker
